The Ruvelkan Imperial Air Force is the aerial warfare service branch of the Imperial Armed Forces of Ruvelka. Originally founded in 1918 following the Ruvelkan Civil War as part of the Imperial Army, the Imperial Air Force was later established as a separate branch during the military reformation in the aftermath of the Siduri War. The primary mission of the RIAF is to secure Ruvelkan airspace and conduct aerial warfare operations during an armed conflict. Since its inception, the RIAF has been involved in the Imerti Conflict and the Zemplen War with neighboring Syara, each having a lasting effect on the strategy and composition of the air force in their aftermath.
