Early Life

Amelia Lowwe was born in Epping, Malgrave on the 12th of June 1991, she is the first daughter of Rupert Lowwe, a prominent Conservative-Action politician and Kathrin Lowwe, a senior member of the Anti-Sex League (Malgrave).

In her early childhood years, Amelia gained a quick fascination with scientific and engineering exploits, and her success in these endeavours was widely promoted by the Anti-Sex League and its supporters as proof that their ideas would lead towards ascension and the successful elimination of MIDD. Rupert and Kathrin Lowwe both belonged to a faction within the Anti-Sex League that promoted the elimination of emotions, which faction claimed led to extremely lewd behaviour and the furthering of MIDD across Malgrave and the international community.

A few years into Amelia's childhood, the Anti-Sex League started carrying out experiments designed to gauge the scientific and engineering talents of the students under their care and rate the success of the ongoing attempt to eliminate emotions. Amelia Lowwe took part in these experiments with her younger sister, Emily Lowwe, although the details of the experiments have not been released to the public.

Territorial Defence Force

When Amelia Lowwe reached the age of 16, she was drafted into the Territorial Defence Force and began basic training in Omsk. It is known that she completed her basic training, with leaked reports from the Ministry of National Defence praising her for her ability to provide medical coverage under stressful conditions, although it marked some concern over her weapon accuracy, however, despite passing basic training Amelia Lowwe didn't enter service with the Territorial Defence Force and instead immediately joined the Active Reserve as a Sub-Lieutenant.

Exploration

After leaving the Territorial Defence Force Amelia decided to continue her educational exploits by enrolling at the Niels Bohr Academy, despite the objections of her parents and the ASL. While studying at the Niels Bohr Academy, Amelia Lowwe met Claudia Donovan, and the two became close friends with the latter inviting Amelia to join the Free Democratic Youth (Malgrave) and become more active in the Ancestral Study Group. At this moment Amelia became the first of the Lowwe sisters to reject the ASL.

Following university, Amelia gained a job working for the Royal Institute for the Advancement of Universal Technology (RIAU) and was immediately assigned to explore new civilisations via the planetary gate system. Amelia was initially tasked with exploring the Revenant Worlds of the Great Civilisation of the C'tan, with the underlying mission to continue the search for ancient ruins, the Malgravean quickly falling in with a multi-national group of adventurers from Menelmacar, Kouralia, D'halbrisir, and Orussia.

As part of her expedition, Amelia explored the planet known as Lurthir II, where her expedition explored a number of ruins and settlements despite the hostile environment, although none of the ruins found on the planet could be considered as belonging to the ancestors it did provide some information on the development of cultures on other planets and became a popular point of discussion within the halls of the RIAU, with an independent study commissioned to investigate the reason for the destruction of the local civilisation and predict the number of similarly advanced civilisations across the galaxy. As they explored the ruins of Lurthir II, the group encountered an alien life-form known as a Tsochar, for whatever reason communication between this new alien race was impossible, and the group were forced defend themselves, during this encounter Orlendo from Orusia was killed. In response, the exploration party reported the presence of the Tsochar to the C'tani authorities who promptly responded with military force.

After leaving Lurthir II the party decided to remain together in order to personally report their own version of the disturbing incident that occurred on Lurthir, and investigate the possible threat posed by the Tsochar, with Amelia primarily concerned about the danger such a treat could pose to the Malgravean people. In order to report the incident properly to the C'tani, the party travelled to the world of Cardi, an icy planet undergoing terraforming by the C'tan. While on Cardi the group of adventurers accidentally discovered a magically constructed location known as the Skien of Cardi, an extradimensional plane the native inhabitants of the world had fled to before the planet was transformed by an apocalyptic ice-storm of unknown origins. After talking with the inhabitants they discovered that they were trapped, and under threat from hostiles known as the 'Degenerates', with the party opting to help defend the inhabitants before escaping and bringing this news to the Great Civilisation. The C'tani began rescue operations which are estimated to be finished around 2026, and which are hoped to save at least 30,000 sapient beings.

In recognition of her actions, Amelia was awarded the Aleithn Firestone Award Scarab in red marble by the C'tani state and was given the civic crown from the Malgravean government in recognition of her own actions for saving over 30,000 lives and giving the Malgravean people an insight on ascension.

Amelia Lowwe continued to work for the Royal Institute after this incident albeit with additional resources from the Special Investigative Service and soon found herself travelling to the Hundred Worlds of Lord Atum in order to continue researching the threat posed by the Tsochar.

While travelling on P7C-3194 a member of the expedition, Sebastyan accidentally revealed that he didn't practice the Goa'uld mandated faith, an omission that caused the local villagers to become incredibly outraged at the so-called heathen amongst them, with the possibility that Sebastyan could be severely punished by the local authorities, Alassë of Menelmcar stepped in and pretended to escort him from prison, forcing themselves to return to the village at a later date. Unfortunately, by that time a dust storm had appeared, and one of the party members (Sebastyan) fell and drowned in the sand. In order to save his life, the party brought his body to the world of Delmak where he was brought back to life by use of a Goa'uld Sarcophagus. Unfortunately, due to the deteriorating relations between Malgrave and the Atumite realm, the discovery of Amelia Lowwe's citizenship resulted in her being enslaved and trained in serving a potential Atumite master, and so she needed to be liberated before they good depart. In spite of her purchased freedom, the neutral condition used by the Goa'uld on their slaves required extensive counselling to deprogram her from her imprinted service, and she had to be taken to the C'tani to receive such counselling. At this time she first met Virgil, of the C'tani.

After finishing her treatment with the C'tani Amelia, and the adventuring party visited a dwarf hold on Charon, and the Revenant World of Menzara to gain further information on the Tsochar threat. On Menzara Amelia was able to gain several viable samples from fallen enemies giving future ASG-led expeditions an advantage when dealing with off-world threats. Following these investigations the party travelled to the Dreaming Citadel of Agatha, unfortunately, the facility was mostly destroyed by Atumite forces, and the party bar Alassë and Sun Down of the Greater Pony Herd were captured, with the latter being killed. Amelia and the remainder of her companions were imprisoned on the prison planet of 'Sheol, where they were contained by a planet-wide energy field, reducing all inhabitants to primitive levels of technology to allow Atumite military forces to field test new combat equipment.

Amelia was detained on Sheol for roughly three years, in that time period she utilised her engineering and scientific skills to construct agricultural equipment, and assist with construction and medical tasks that rose as the companions and a small group of resistant and motivated exiled prisoners banded together to protect themselves from the Atumite forces. In the last days of the detention Amelia, and the rest of the group were reunited with their original weapons, unfortunately for the party that preceded a massive assault from killbots. Amelia Lowwe and the more technologically minded members of the group attempted to finish a communication device to hijack a passing Atumite station, however, due to the inferiority of the parts used the team accidentally summoned an extraplanar monster that possessed Amelia until it was eliminated. In order to get a message out Amelia and the party had to resort to advanced ancestral abilities to reach out, at that moment the combat-focused element of the party was holding the line, with Sebastyan once more giving his life in protection of the party, a fact that resulted in him being awarded the Order of Aurora. The group was eventually rescued from Sheol by a Necrontyr naval force along with Alassë and her ship, the Continuation of Diplomacy.

As Alassë had technically contributed to the rescue of a Malgravean prisoner of war, she was awarded a parcel of land in the Research Colony and was awarded the Order of Aurora in recognition of her efforts.

Eater of Breath

After being freed from the prison planet Amelia and the rest of her adventuring group (minus Sebastyan) travelled to Equestria in order to meet with Princess Celestia, although due to the nature of the region the party nearly stumbled into disaster when they attempted to utilise some of the local trees in order to construct a replacement bridge into one of the towns on the outskirts of Celestia's estate. After crossing the bridge the party arrived in Canterlot, with everyone receiving lessons on diplomacy from a minotaur named Iron Will, after some rather dubious lessons the group caught an inefficient train in order to meet Celestia, although Amelia and Sahaeli of Crystal Spires found themselves taking a slight detour to the meeting after falling into a magical portal. In a moment of idiocy Fenya of Crystal Spires got into an argument with Celestia, and as a result was turned into a heron.

After that diplomatic incident the party, including the bird-version of Fenya were sent to Hippocratia via an airship, sadly, further details on the airship are unknown due to the crews' ill-advised decision to deny Amelia Lowwe entrance to the ships engineering bay. At some point, it came under attack by forces known to the C'tani as Newblood Astartes, after a brief stint of combat it was revealed that Celestia was following the party, a fact that most likely contributed to the aircraft not being entirely destroyed. When the party arrived at Hippocratia they reunited with Sebasytan and attempted to interrogate a local cell that might have information on the Eater of Breath, sadly due to several unfortunate incidents they were unable to capture anyone alive but they were able to gain valuable information on the entity. Sadly due to the incredibly racist and rude nature of Hippocratian society, they were unable to gather any assistance from law enforcement officials and had to rely on the power of the ancestors to trap the Eather of Breath, with the group being aided by a monk pony called Lily and her loyal goat companion, Balram.

Crystal Spires

After taking a brief break from adventuring Amelia and the adventuring party, minus Fenya and Sahaeli travelled to the Spirean city of Vehir to respond to a request for assistance. In this city they ran across Regeris Kel, a foreign driver, Keiko and Asahi, a Spirean celebrity figure and a famous mercenary, with all three members joining Amelia and the rest of the party as they met with Jai Li and Damayanti Thurasid of the C'tani. In the meeting, the party was informed of the current situation in Crystal Spires, with many areas of the country still unsurveyed and packed with the threat of monsters, communists or both many old Spirean ruins remained unsearched, and the C'tani were organising expeditions to clear some of these zones.

Amelia and her fellow companions started to travel to one of these zones, with the pair initially travelling by vehicle before being forced to undertake the rest of the journey by foot, with the party stopping at an old abandoned Inn on the way and establishing a supply camp. As they reached the target zone they spotted an old Spirean Paling Tower that had somehow remained upright despite suffering a nuclear blast, the party started to explore the tower but were met with stiff resistance from monsters inside, with two members suffering from radiation exposure, despite the damage sustained the party eventually managed to clear the tower and dispersed the energy stored from the Paling tower into space.

After rendering the Paling tower harmless the party started to return to the Vehirr to rest and heal their injured party members, on the return journey Amelia met Celeste Pavoni of the Institute for the Development of Ancestral Technology and Advancement Towards Ascension who informed them of a race known as the Baruthi who might have information on the Ancestors and Ascension, with Celeste being dispatched by the Ancestral Study Group to convince Amelia and the Otter to travel to various locations inhabited by the Baruthi to learn their secrets. A little bit afterwards Alasse and several other members were offered a lucrative offer themselves, and the party split into two groups.

As they returned to Vehirr Amelia purged Rylux and Asahi of their radiation sickness before making preparations to travel to the city of Naár, with Keiko, Regeris Kel, Sebastyan, Celeste, Sahaeli and Virgil accompanying her. As they approached Naár Amelia low detected that the city contained a ring of the ancestors, and the group moved immediately towards its location, finding it as an exhibit in a civic museum. Greel, the sentient robotic tour guide informed the party that the ring had been found on the second moon many years ago, but that the people who discovered it couldn't unlock its secrets. Amelia was able to utilise her connection to the ancestors and soon established a connection with Epping, with a bit of free maintenance work for Greel, the robotic tour guide pointed the party in the direction of a Baruthi. At first, the language barrier between the Baruthi and the companions was quite large, but after a bit of quick flying from Sahaeli, the party were able to convince the Baruthi to allow the party communication with the Baruthi Elder, with the companions heading off to the Otter to start talks.

Personal life

Family and romance

Following an intensive investigation into the administration of the Anti-Sex League the Independent Ethics Enforcement Agency conducted several raids against ASL properties, with the investigation revealing that the ASL had been engaged in serious ethical violations and child endangerment over the years, with leaked reports stating that Amelia Lowwe and her younger sister had been at the forefront of so-called anti-emotion experiments. In addition to revealing the basic facts of the investigation Royal Malgravean Times reported that Amelia Lowwe has not seen her parents in several years, with Amelia purposefully distancing herself from her parents after getting her younger sister into the RIAU, she is however quite close with her sister Emily Lowwe and the pair have worked together on several projects over the years.

In recent years it has been suggested that she is currently in a relationship with Virgil of the C'tani and Sahaeli of Crystal Spires, however, due to the privacy laws in Malgrave this hasn't been confirmed, although it has been used as proof of growing acceptance of polyamorous relationships in Malgrave.

Religion

Amelia is agnostic and is on record saying that she believes in the ancient origin theory.
