Early Life

Angelique Lateesha De'Baroda was born in 1977 in the province of South Phoenicia in the Empire of Greater Phoenicia.

She is the eldest of 10 children belonging to Thomas Baroda; 8th Earl of South Phoenicia and Countess Inga Van Winterhorne-Baroda.

Her paternal grandmother was Lady Myrtle Hellenglock a famous aristocrat and artist. Her maternal grandfather Romeo Winterhorne was a Rear Admiral in the Empire of Greater Phoenicia.

Angelique was born in the province of South Phoenicia; a province which in 1580 had separated from Greater Phoenicia to form their own independent duchy.

However in 1593 during the The War of Greater Phoenicia Aggression, the day was defeated after their ports and cities were devastated and were reabsorbed back into Greater Phoenicia.

In 1600 her paternal line were given the aristocratic titles of Earls of South Phoenicia, due to the family support in reunification.

She was born in the South Phoenician capital city of Phoenicia Minor. Upon her birth she was given the title of Lady due to her father being an earl.

She was born into a protestant family and was baptised in the Baroda family manor private chapel later that year. Lady Marie Winterhorne, her maternal cousin was selected as her godmother.

From birth to the age of 5 she was raised by a governess; Madame Katherine York. She was not very studious, but she did enjoy dancing, art and physics.

Education

Both her parents enrolled her into a public primary school, believing she should associate with people of lesser rank.

However by high school they transferred her to a price high school to complete her education.

Angelique was not overly fond of school but she continued enjoying dancing, theatre, English and history.

She completed her education in 1996 and declined going to university.

Instead with her consent she travelled to West Phoenicia to meet Prince Glenton Gryphon-Bush II. An arrangement between her parents and his to strengthen ties between both nations.

Siblings

Lady Angelique De'Baroda is the eldest child of  Thomas Baroda; 8th Earl of South Phoenicia and Countess Inga Van Winterhorne-Baroda

The couple went onto have another nine children.

Angelique De'Baroda have shared with close sources that her family is under a curse. Legend had that the 1st Earl of South Phoenicia informed on a number of citizens who were acting as resistance against the Empire of Greater Phoenicia.

One of those affected, a male witch named Hemlock McFaddin was said to have placed a curse on the family.

In each generation members of the family have died young. In the case of the current De'Baroda family;

Family members have labelled the curse nonsense, but they still can't explain the number of deaths in their family at such young ages.

Personal Life

Marriage

Angelique De'Baroda and her contingent travelled to West Phoenicia in 1996 after she completed her high school education.

Her parents had arranged a marriage alliance with Thaddeus Gryphon; Prince Consort of West Phoenicia to marry his son Glenton Gryphon-Bush II.

It would be the first royal marriage of a West Phoenician and Greater Phoenician due to the troubled history of both nations.

Angelique has said she was in full support of an arranged marriage. It brings to mind old age romanticism that is slowly disappearing from society.

Thaddeus Gryphon had high hopes that the marriage alliance may assist in keeping him on the throne of West Phoenicia, instead of handing it to the late Queens eldest daughter, Aphrilis Sunbury-Bush who he was engaged in a civil war.

Her arrival was too late to form a Greater Phoenicia and West Phoenicia marriage alliance; however the two did marry in 1997 in a private ceremony on the Imperial Palace grounds gaining approval from Aphrilis Sunbury-Bush who was now queen.

Glenton Gryphon-Bush II father had fled West Phoenicia. While the marriage was accepted, the couple were denied honeymooning abroad, for fear  Glenton Gryphon-Bush II would unite with his father and attempt to dethrone the new queen.

As a member of the Royal family she believes she should appear neutral in public, as not to sway public opinion for or against a political party or cause.

However she has shown that she supports the rights of animals, having attended a number of galas hosted by the Animal Justice Party, she declines to wear furs and has not joined the royal hunting parties at the country estates.

On the issue of polygamy which her husband supports, she has not voiced approval or opposition. When her husband married his second wife in 2009, she was at the wedding and blessed Alotta Diesel-Bush; Princess of Kingdom of Eden, welcoming her into the family.

In 2018 when her husband married his third wife Cleopatra-Olympia Ptolemi Bush; Princess of Ptolemaic Isles. She was a part of the wedding party and blessed his third wife into the family.

Angelique has shown to support sibling marriage, as she supported the marriage of her two eldest children. She was interviewed by a number of magazines where she expressed joy at the ancient West Phoenicia royal tradition of sibling marriage.

Angelique has also shown to be anti-drugs, helping to fund a number of rehabilitation centres to get young offenders off drugs.

While not a vocal critic, she has stated on many inspirational conferences that her personal conviction was never to vaccinate her children, that was a choice they could make when they are adults.

5th West Phoenicia Civil War (2008-2010)

In 2008 intelligence reports reached Queen Jezebel Tasman-bush that the Kingdom of Gryphon was going to launch a pre-emptive attack to remove her from the throne. Her step father Thaddeus Gryphon was now Emperor of The Kingdom of Gryphon and he was seeking revenge.

She sent a message to Emperor Thaddeus Gryphon that any hostility would see her execute her half brother and his whole family.

Queen Jezebel's paranoia in trusting those close to her continued to grow. She ordered other family members to be questioned and placed under house arrest. Those arrested included her own daughter Princess Servilia Samindia Tasman-Bush on charges of high treason.

Queen Jezebel had the media which was under her control, pushout propaganda, demonising her opponents and the Kingdom of Gryphon.

She arranged for the destruction of tobacco and tea plantations accusing enemies of the destruction. The destruction incited citizens to call for war.

Civil war finally erupted when three innocent tourists from the Kingdom of Gryphon were arrested and executed for espionage without trial under the orders of Queen Jezebel.

Her brother,Prince Gai Bush escaped his own house arrest. He fled to the Kingdom of Gryphon to support his step father. Prince Gai Bush rallied the Kingdom of East Ivoria; his wife's nation of birth to the cause, citing the mistreatment of his wife's at the hands of Queen Jezebel. He was able to sway them to support The Kingdom of Gryphon in the attack on West Phoenicia.

Prince Glenton Gryphon-Bush II second wife Alotta Diesel-Gryphon-Bush used her influence to smuggle out a letter. The letter was delivered to her father Charlemagne Diesel VII; the King of North Eden. The letter persuaded him to join The Kingdom of Gryphon war alliance.

Princess Angelique also attempted to smuggle letters out to her family in the Greater Phoenicia Empire. However the Empire choose not to intervene as they had obtained a number of trade deals under the reign of Queen Jezebel Tasman-Bush that had boosted their economy. Her father ordered that she respect and pledge loyalty to Queen Jezebel Tasman- Bush for the sake of her birth nation. Her letters were handed over to authorities and given to Queen Jezebel who threatened to behead Angelique for treason.

During 2008-2009 Operation Blockade was put into effect by the Tripartite alliance of The Kingdoms of Gryphon, North Eden and East Ivoria. The naval blockade hoped to starve the nation of West Phoenicia by attacking enemy ships and those ships transporting supplies.

The three navy's engaged in shelling of coastal West Phoenician city-states, eventually causing them to surrender.

Following the naval engagements, a combined 3 nation alliance Airforce, bombarded major West Phoenician cities.

The West Phoenician resistance also took up arms, bringing the fight to the streets to free the country from a wicked ruler. Millions of leaflets were littered across city streets listing the lies and crimes of Queen Jezebel.

By 2010 the majority of city-states had swung their loyalty to Tripartite alliance.

Queen Jezebel called for a peace treaty at the urging of her advisors and children. Reports had enemy troops were going to be dispatched into Jackson and it's capital Melbourne-Haven.

Fearing execution at the hands of Thaddeus Gryphon and an unsupportable opposing force, Queen Jezebel called for peace on her terms.

She was given free passage for her and her family who wanted to depart back to Widemeadows Isles. She would abdicate the West Phoenician throne immediately.

Victory was declared. Thaddeus Gryphon was to stay on as a transition rule where he would pass on the throne to his son.

Many feared he would refuse to hand it over, however within a month Glenton Gryphon-Bush was installed onto the throne with Angelique and Alotta as queens.

Queen Consort of West Phoenicia

The coronation of Glenton Gryphon-Bush II and Angelique De'Baroda took place at the Agape True Path Faith Palace on the 25th of November 2010, overseen by the resorted Pontifex; Most High Reverend Darius Mckay.

Following the coronation, a five day Festival of West Phoenicia was held. During the festival he pardoned all those who had suffered under his sister's reign and reinstalled them into their former positions.

As she is the first wife she is classed as official Head Queen or head Empress.

Queen Angelique has been a strong rock of support to her husband. Together they have attended numerous national and international meetings.

She was in the nation of the Hoosier Alliance when an attempt was made on her husbands life and an intruder entered the private residence where she was staying threatening West Phoenicians to pull out of supporting the elected president.

She has also attended a number of International galas held by heads of States. Promoting diplomacy and possible marriage alliances for her children.

In return she hosts a large number of parties promoting West Phoenicia as a friend and ally.

Whatever she does, Queen Angelique states she does to benefit West Phoenicia.

Queen Angelique is described by many West Phoenician citizens as sweet, kind and a tradionalist.
