The Asal-Jalal Ahmed Airport is a major joint international airport which serves the city of Asal, being located on an artificial island 7.1 kilometers northeast, in the city boundaries of Dar Al Mtar. It has two runways, 12L/30R and 12R/30L and three terminals. Access to the airport is made with ferries.
