Avallon (French: Avallon), officially the Confederation of Avallon (French: Confédération d'Avallon) is a country located Eracura in Tyran. It is bordered to the north and east by Acrea. Together with Venetia, it comprises French Eracura. Avallon is unique in Tyran in that it is a confederation, composed of the four constituent duchies of Tournay, Cahors, and Viriat.

Since antiquity, Avallon has been settled by various groups, with both Nordic and Latin groups inhabiting the land by the 7th century BCE. Modern-day Avallon was originally two separate regions, Avallon and Tournay, which bordered Venetia to the east and Gothaland to the north. The regions of Avallon was one of the first foreign territories annexed by the Acrean League ca. 200 BCE. Within the Acrean Empire, Avallon and Tournai were regarded as a part of Greater Acrea as they had a proportionally massive Nordic population, many being emigres from Venetia. In 72 BCE, Avallon and Tournay were formally organised into their own provinces. During the Acrean Civil War of 990-1016, Avallon remained a loyalist province. Tournai was later incorporated into Avallon by Emma I in 1032 to repay the Crown's debts to the province as a result of its support during the war.

Avallon as a distinct political and administrative entity was first established in 1502. Domestic self-governance was established in 1875, though Acrea retained control over Avallon's foreign affairs until its independence. Full home rule was established in Avallon in 1964, after a referendum which passed with a margin of 61% to 39%. The independence ceremony was held in the Avallonian capital of Cabourg. Today, Avallon is a developed state with a mixed market economy. It enjoys a very high standard of living and large degree of economic freedom. The financial sector is highly important to Avallon's economy, and it is known for its strict banking privacy laws. It retains close ties both politically and economically to Acrea. Acrea is primarily responsible for Avallon's defence, and as a result Avallon maintains only a small army and large gendarmerie.
