Aya Erland (15 February 1966) is a retired Erebonian medic who served in Task Force 131.
Aya is the youngest child of an Erebonian officer and medic in the army. Aya was both motivated with her father's duties in the army, as well as her mother's medical services. As a result, Aya trained to serve as a combat medic. He graduated basic medicine and first aid in the Thors Military Academy before finally enlisting in the army. Her skills were later noticed in the field and was eventually recruited to Task Force 131 as a combat medic. Aya is one of the few medics who went out into the field with the rest of her squad, as well as the only female combat medic who fought alongside other TF 131 members. Although she largely avoided covert operations out of her worry she might cause a problem. Aya often exchanges her time in the field and behind allied lines, where she is seen treating the wounded along with her best friend, Mona Becker.
She later married Frank John Brennan in 1989. They have one son, Emrick Brennan, a member of Task Force 141, TF 131's modern iteration.
