Brevierland, officially the Confederation of Brevierlandic Free States (Brevierian: Konfederasie van Brevierlandse Vrystate) is a Federal presidential constitutional republic in central east Emericia, located on the planet of Eordus. It is comprised of 9 states called the Free States, one Federal Distric and two Autonomous Regions. It borders Paugessett to the northeast and Labraland to the northwest. The name Brevierland comes from the name of the Brevier river which flows trough the entire territory of Brevierland.

Esteric colonisation of Emericia began in the 16th century. The Breviers lived south of the current territory of the country in the former Rohstian colony of xxx. Due to religious disputes, and the colonials wanting more autonomy from the central Rohstian authority, the Breviers - then known as Boers, embarked on The Great Trek of 1759 which was the first of three which happened. The first was a large wave of an estimated 100.000 Boers moving north and creating the first Free States - Nuwrost and Borania. The Boer migrations caused many conflicts with the Native Emerician population which lived in the northern territories. In the next 100 years two more Treks occured and 7 new Boer states were founded. In 1844 the Boer republics signed the Treaty of Loeswijk which unified the Boer republics into a confederate state. During the second half of the 19th century Brevierland experienced a large Civil War which led to the decentralisation of the country and also to Native Emericians gaining their own autonomous entities within the Free States.
