Brilliania participated in the Aeiavision Song Contest 2018. The Brillian Broadcasting Agency (BEA) organized an edition of the show Kanta to select the Brillian entry.
Before Aeiavision
Background
Prior to the 2018 edition, Brilliania participated 16 times in Aeiavision. Its highest ranking was 1st, which was achieved by the song "Maitasuna Bai" sung by Tzobiral Salbatzaile. Brilliania hosted the 2017 edition of Aeiavision in the Crystal Arena in Akerrau. The Brillian entry in 2017 was the song "Te is félsz" (You're scared too) by the band Antxoritz-Matias-Benedek (AMB), sung in Fiarakent, which ended in the 10th place.
Kanta 2018
Kanta 2018 was the third edition of the show Kanta, which was used to select the Brillian entry for Aeiavision 2018. The competition will feature 10 acts.
After the competition, it was revealed that that the organizing of Kanta cost Rn 600,000 (€185,760; $216,120).

A five-member jury was used which decided 50% of the votes. In case of a tie between jurors, the oldest juror's votes decide.

At Aeiavision
The Aeiavision Song Contest 2018 will take place on XXX in the Alemin Arena in Elenaborg, Aleia.
Voting
Voting during the show involves each country giving 2 sets of points, one from a professional 5-member jury panel and one from the nationwide televote. Each jury panel consists of 5 music industry professionals which have the nationality of the country they're representing as a jury panel member. The juries must vote impartially and without any bias. The juries rated each entry except the entry of their own country based of several criteria including vocal capacity, performance, and song. The individual points will be released after the contest.
