Cadasia (Cadasian: क़र्दशज़िर् Qadaşzir), officially referred to as the Solar Khaganate of Cadasia (Cadasian: क़र्दशज़िर् कोयश्ल्य कगनतस्य् Qadaşzir Koyaşly Kaganatasy) is a sovereign state in the Inner Continent, bordered by Kadaria to the west and Leney to the northwest. It has an estimated population of over 66 million people, who are largely urbanised. Cadasia is a federal elective monarchy comprised of over 60 electoral beyliks. The capital city of Cadasia is Qaraqul, which is the largest city in the country.

A part of the Yultric cultural sphere, Cadasia was an integral part of the Great Khaganate of All Under the Sun. The Cadasian Khagans were regarded as one of the major Elector-beys within the Great Khaganate, being the dominant hegemon in the north of the country. The Heirophany of Dawn, a series of reformist currents within Odyol in the 1500s, was received enthusiastically by northern Beys, and in the turmoil that followed with the Epoch of Strife Cadasia established itself as the patron of the Peleshist movement. This was recognised in the Treaty of Qaraqul, which permitted the practice of Heirophanic Odyol in the khaganate. During the collapse of the Khaganate, it was these Heirophanic beyliks which united under the banner of Cadasia. The Cadasian Khaganate fought against Kadaria during the War in Heaven, initially losing much ground before the state modernised its armed forces and political system under Turgut Etizhir. Etizhir's victories blunted Kadarian territorial ambitions, but he was unable to capitalise on the victories and sued for a peace which restored the situation more or less to the status quo ante bellum. The issue of successorship of the Great Khaganate, which is claimed by both Cadasia and Kadaria, still defines international relations and has had immense influence over Cadasia's domestic political situation. In the modern day, Cadasia is a comparatively liberal and democratic state in the inner continent. Etizhir's reforms were responsible for the creation of a constitutional monarchy, while economic liberalisation allowed for greater integration into the global community.
