Capital is a Gylian financial newspaper, founded in 1977.

History

It was founded in 1977, during the wretched decade. Its first issue proclaimed its goal of "rejuvenating" the Gylian consensus through Gylias' tradition of economic experimentation.

The 1990s saw it adopt new technology such as digital printing, establish its website, and digitise its archives through BiblioNet.

Profile

Its political orientation is sympathetic to market anarchism. Its coverage focuses on matters of income distribution, wealth distribution, and monetary reform.

It publishes editions in English and French.

Ownership and organisation

Capital is owned and published by Capital Goods, legally constituted as an SàRL. Its headquarters are in Tezira, Aðuna.

The newspaper has a 5-member Management Board and a 10-member Supervisory Board, elected yearly.

Its revenue comes from newsagent's sales, paid subscriptions, online orders, and donations. Donors are listed at the end of each issue. It does not accept advertising.
