Carlosian Rail is the state-owned company which operates and maintains Carloso's railway network. It administers the operation of all regional and inter-city train services in the country. It operates the Aris high-speed rail network, which connects all major Carlosian cities. With an operating speed of 215 miles per hour, the journey between Madrigal and Ebon (approximately 900 km) lasts about 4 hours. Carlosian rail maintains connections to all neighbouring countries, including an Aris service from Secano to Ninfas.
It's most recent major project has been the completion of the Trans-Madrigal Bay tunnel, which allows train services to directly cross from Madrigal to Lagurgous Circuit, drastically cutting the length of the Aris service from Madrigal to Secano. Two other major projects are under construction; a tunnel from Portadia in Aranse to the Cadena Islands and a tunnel from Menerissa to Morcon.
Commuter rail networks and tram systems are owned by provincial and circuit governments.
