The Ceram Plateau (Negaran: Ceram Dataran) is a fertile plain in northern Negara. The region is named after the Ceram River, although it includes the Ambon River as well as a number of municipalities. The Ceram Plateau is bordered to the north by the Green Mountains and the Turroccan Sea which feeds both the Ceram and Ambon, while the southern edge is marked by the Sungai and Busat Highlands and the Serong Valley.
