Charlotte Teorell (Aethlinga Charlotte of Brytene, née Norton) is the Aethlinga of Brytene by right of marriage to Bretwalda Cenwulf Teorell. The couple married on the 8th of September 2015. Charlotte is a published author and former top-flight association footballer from the Allied Castarcian States.

Biography

Born in 1969, from a young age Charlotte clearly had a passion for football, which was stoked by her parents, who were both dedicated and fanatical fans of the Willisville Wyverns. She regularly played football in her local park and played for school teams throughout her education. Playing in local youth teams, Charlotte was offered trials with the Gatley Crusaders and signed a contract with the youth team at the age of 15.

Meanwhile, under the advice of peers and teachers, Charlotte made plans to pursue what her teachers liked to call a 'proper job' and eventually pursued a degree in law, although by the time she graduated aged 22, she already held a first team position with the Crusaders and was a key player in their third place finish of the 1991/1992 season. Soon after, she earned a place in the national team and was signed by her favourite team, the Wyverns. During her remaining football career Charlotte captained the national team, won three league titles with her club and became renowned for her tackling, passing, and shooting abilities.

Charlotte also became a spokeswoman for various causes pertaining to equality in regards to both gender and sexuality; in her autobiography she declared that she was a bisexual. Aside from her autobiography she has authored two further best-selling books, which are classified under the 'Romance' genre.

Public image

In the Allied Castarcian States, there is mixed opinion concerning her off-pitch behaviour during her sporting career, as she liked to drink and party 'excessively'. In Brytene, however, the boisterous and vivacious Princess Charlotte has already won the hearts and minds of the general voting public.

Unlike her husband, her position is a purely ceremonial one and entails no actual political power, though naturally she holds considerable personal influence.
