The Combine Rebels is the catch-all term to describe the Jedorian dissidents who rebelled against the Socialist Republic of Jedoria. Joined by defected military personnel during the Jedorian Uprising, the Combine Rebels fought against the Socialist regime during the Jedorian Civil War. The term "Combine Rebels" comes from the word "Kombinācija", a Jedorian term for a political faction.

After years of economic downturn following the Jedorian-Mozrian War, the Socialist Republic began experiencing widespread protests in 2003 calling for liberalization and economic freedom. The protests were answered by brutal crackdowns in which hundreds were beaten and thousands arrested, which in turn spurned further protests especially in southern Jedoria. By 2004 these protests had grown beyond the ability of local security forces to handle and forces of the Jedorian People's Army, specifically those of the Southern Military District, were mobilized and ordered to crush the protests. Instead, the equivalent of 17 divisions worth of troops defected to the side of the protestors, sparking the Jedorian Uprising. The protesters officially declared the establishment of the "Combine for Jedorian Liberalism and Opportunity" and renounced their loyalty to the Socialist Republic and the Jedorian Communist Party. Fighting between Socialist loyalists and the rebels broke out shortly thereafter, marking what is generally considered the beginning of the Jedorian Civil War.

Led primarily by former military personnel, the Combine Rebels enjoyed a largely centralized and structured chain of command that allowed them to operate effectively and efficiently in pursuit of their goals. Rebel forces were organized into battalions and brigades based on their geographic location, which in turn were organized into operational formations which were known as Corps. The Combine Rebels controlled most of southern Jedoria (with the exception of Arstotzka), a grip they solidified during the winter of 2004. While fielding some units composed of armor and mechanized infantry along with some aircraft, the majority of rebels fought as light infantry, usually at a disadvantage versus their Socialist counterparts armed with heavy artillery and armored vehicles. Rebel troops however were usually more motivated than their conscripted counterparts, and utilized infiltration tactics, asymmetric warfare and similar methods to defeat their opponents. From the beginning of the civil war the Rebels were supplied by foreign powers, usually former enemies of the Socialist Republic including the Able Vigil Accords and the Vinyan Defence Community, and following the Kentares Massacre were supported directly by AVA forces on the ground.

The Combine Rebels endured server blows during the war, most noticeably during the 2005 Radstadt Offensive and Satalice Campaign which saw some of the bloodiest fighting the war. The rebels were able to bounce back and eventually sever the supply line between the Socialist North and the 1st Arstotzka Front, which they followed up by decisively defeating the JPA during the 2006 Tikinov Offensive. Supported by AVA forces, the rebels then fought the Socialists to a standstill during Operation Oracle before delivering a crushing blow to the JPA during Operation Revival in 2007. In the spring of 2008 the rebels successfully crossed the Luminovian Canal and invaded the heartland of the Socialist Republic, which dissolved shortly thereafter and with it ending the Jedorian Civil War.
