Daglige Meddelelser (DM, Mescon pronunciation: [ˈte̝ˀ'em]; "Daily Notices"), originally published as Daglige Meddelelser om Nationen ("Daily Notices of the Nation") is a Scovernois daily newspaper, published since 1778. It is considered the Mescon-language newspaper of record, as well as a newspaper of record for Scovern as a whole. It prints in Mescon, in the Scovernois format (475 mm x 320 mm) that it first used in the 18th century. DM is also available online in Vestelian and Frellandic, as well as numerous world languages. It is generally considered as high-quality and reputable. The paper is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the media and publishing company DM Mediegruppe.
DM is Scovern's oldest continuously-published newspaper, founded in 1778 by Frans Harald Dyrvig, Adam Tolne-Tvé and Patrick Vordingborg. In 1815, its name officially changed to the modern Daglige Meddelelser, and the acronym DM by which it is commonly known gained popularity in the late 19th century. It is the most widely-read newspaper in Scovern, both in print and online. Politically, the paper identifies itself as supportive of liberal democracy, but it is widely considered to have a centre-right leaning.
