David Choe (born May 16th, 1942) is a prominent Anikatian statesman, politician, and military officer. He is a well-regarded national figure in Anikatia, especially after the stability wrought by the restoration of the Anikatian Republic after the fall of the communist regime. He is the founder of the center-right major Anikatia United party, and served as the first Minister of Defense under the new Republic during the AUP-LPA government from 2002 - 2006. He is most famous and notorious for being the 9th and last leader of the Free Anikatia Movement, with what academics call his autocratic and militaristic tendencies atop the FAM, especially his taking the joint civil-military title of "President-General."
