David Smith Keyes (27 July 1961 – 3 June 2014) was a Scalizagastian engineer and politician. He was elected leader of the Social Democratic Party of Scalizagasti following the 2013 Social Democratic Party of Scalizagasti leadership election, serving from 11 March 2013 to 3 June 2014 when he was killed in a car crash. First elected in 1997, he was the Minister of Agriculture in Blaine Blaikie's cabinet following the SDP victory in the 2003 Scalizagastian federal election. He was also the SDP critic for Agriculture.

Keyes was born in Jessolime, a small farming community in northern Ostrawijan. Both of Keyes' parents were farmers, and he would help them on the farm after school and in the summer. He eventually moved to Weyburn to pursue a degree in chemical engineering at the Weyburn Polytechnical Institute. Before entering politics, Keyes worked in the private sector as a chemical engineer developing fertilizers at Agrow Industries.
