Eirik Rökkvisson Stordalen is an Acrean General currently serving as Acrean Chief of Defence Staff. He is best known as commander of the Acrean 6th Army during the Zemplen War and as commander of Army Group North during the Midsummer War.
Coming from a family with military heritage, Stordalen was an avid athlete and strong student in his school years. He applied to and was accepted to the Royal Military Academy at Kongsvingen in 1977, receiving a commission in 1981 alongside an undergraduate degree in military history. In 1985, he would be sent on his first combat deployment to Syara during the Refusal War. Even as early as his career as a junior officer, Stordalen was noted by colleagues and superiors for being bookish and academic. During this time he became well-known among his superior officers for possessing excellent tactical creativity and embodying traditional Acrean mission-based tactical doctrine. He worked his way through the ranks as a career officer, eventually coming to take command of the 6th Army in 2006. His appointment as commander of 6th Army was well-received by fellow officers and enlisted alike, as he had gained a reputation not only for being a thoughtful and aggressive commander, but of taking particular consideration of troops under his command.
