The El Bridget S-27 Shrike is a twin-engine supermaneuverable fighter aircraft designed by L. Bridget. It was designed to gain and maintain air supremacy in all aspects of aerial combat, with 3,530-kilometre (1,910 nmi) range, heavy aircraft ordnance, sophisticated avionics and high maneuverability. It was designed with the Arco S-32 Gyrfalcon as its complement.

The S-27 entered service with the Atmoran Armed Forces in 1987. The primary role of the S-27 was long range air defence against Cardinal Pact strategic bombers, protecting the Halkeginian coast from aircraft carriers and providing escort to B-97 Blackjacks and B-78 Statrofortresses. In addition the S-27Ds were designed to be the Fleet Air Arms's primary maritime air superiority fighter, fleet defense interceptor, and tactical aerial reconnaissance platform.
