The Elatia-Mutul relations refer to the economic, political, and social relations between Elatia and the Mutul from 1995 and the Silvanus Reformation to the present. Official relations began in 1881 when the Mutul officialy recognized Elatia as a sovereign nation. Until the 90s, contacts between the two countries were sparse, with the Sunset Coast only seeing the rare Mutuleses traders who had decided to take the Northern Road to return to Oxidentale from Ochran. Since the rules of the Supreme Prophet Silvanus the Corrupt and Divine Lord Jasaw Chan K'awiil V, ties between the two countries became much stronger, both economically and politically, the Mutul being one of the few nations maintaining a friendly stance toward the Blessed Republic. The 2015 Purification, in which Marcus the Purifier overthrew and executed his father on live television, had temporarily soured the relationship between the two countries. But since then, cordial relations have resumed and the Mutul remain Elatia's main economic and diplomatic partner.

Economic

Elatian imports from the Mutul rose by 380% from 1995 to 2005. In 2015, Mutuleses exports represented 11% of the total Elatian market, giving the Mutul the largest share of the market before even Jhengtsang and Skaldafen, the other two major trade partners of the Blessed Republic. Once profitable trade relations had been established, Mutuleses companies invested heavily in Elatia's energy sector, Mining,Weapon, and construction industries. Elatia's fishing fleet and woodland exploitations were also greatly boosted by Mutuleses investments.

Mutuleses banks are especially active in Elatia.

Cultural

Cuisine

Many Mutuleses restaurants have opened in Engelhavn and other major Elatians metropolis since 2001 and Mutulese cuisine has become a popular source of "exotic" dishes.

Education

The Tzewayib’ has opened institutes in Elatia to promote the Mutli language and the Mutulese culture, suporting local Mutli teaching and facilitating cultural exchanges in relationship with the Elatian government. There has been accusations from Engelists Devots that the Tzewayib' was promoting a policy of de-Engelisation of Elatia and subtly ushed students to convert to the White Path, but these accusations have remained unfounded. The Elatian government has also been favorable to the opening of more Tzewayib' institutes, as knowledge of Mutli and of the Divine Kingdom as a whole has become vital to the Blessed Republic's economy.

Religion

Since the beginning of the 21rst century, great efforts were made by the Elatian propaganda and Engelists scholars to present the White Path as an "allied faith". Parallel were drawn between the Thirteen Forms of the Logos of Engelism and the Thirteen Creator Gods of the White Path. Elatians theologians have also praised the White Pilgrims for their dedication to self-improvement and their study of the cosmic cycles, two major tenets of Engelism.

Devots and Fundamentalists in Elatia, however, have been less accepting of the White Path, calling it "Devil Worship" and considering their practitioners to be a step under the "Dark Abyssals" while the Mutul, by its investments and collaboration with Silvanus the Corrupt, promoted Materialism and was a source of corruption. Despite the 2015 coup, which was planed and supported by the very same Devots, mainstream acceptance of the White Path as an Allied Faith has not diminished in Elatia and remain the Blessed Republic's official policy.
