Eppingham is a town in Greater Darwin, South Neviersia, whose name derives from the River Eppeng which runs through the historical hamlet upon which the town centre was developed. The town serves as the administrative centre of County Epping. With a population of 117,000, it is Greater Darwin's third-most populous settlement after Darwinschtad and Bolton, and the 28th most populous settlement in South Neviersia. The town is situated upon the Eppeng Hamlet by the Pacific Ocean in southwestern Greater Darwin, directly adjacent to the town of Miōngardi, The Durbanites. Eppingham is the hub of the interregional Eppingham-Miōngardi metropolitan area, comprising of Eppingham, Miōngardi, Josford and Hotham Bridge, comprising a population of 165,000. It also serves as a vital commuter town and is part of the larger metropolitan Darwinschtad area (or "the Schtaderland").

The area has been inhabited by indigenous people for millennia, particularly Lainerovans of the Asana and Larishoma tribes.
