Erde or also known as Father, Father Earth, Großer Vater (Great Father), Schöpfer (creator), and König {King), is the Commoner personification of fatherhood and the term God throughout TECT Mythology. Known as the king of all gods; Erde is the father to the planet Earth, the Angel generation (big four), animal life, and generally all other forms of life in the world. Erde is also commonly attributed to democracy, environmentalism, and guardian hood. In TECT Mythology, Erde is the last true god to be born -- tasked with the sole purpose of continuing life, creating the Earth, and protecting the Universe. Erde's role in mythological tales is considerably minor compared to his actual position in the general storyline of Creation; his role as king of gods and great father leaves him out of many tales. In most appearances, like in 'Paradise Lost', Erde appears to both humans and gods as a rational voice to the conflict; rather then come in like a know-it-all father -- Erde takes the form of a mischievous young boy who speaks powerful logic to both god and mortal. Among his various attributions; Erde is worshiped for his work in creating the Earth as artwork -- Erde is also used as an example of surviving suffering after giving birth to his children by using plucked out body parts. In modern times, scholars (as well as generally everyone) like to compare Erde to the Christian/Muslim/Hebrew version of God; some have even compared Erde to Jesus Christ. His pacifists yet heavy handed role as the father to all have made Erde a beloved character in both TECT Mythology and in various other works. Erde is said to usually appear as an old man in robes; glowing of bright white light, his light is warm and welcoming -- as per his fatherly demeanor.
