Eriksztadt Airport (Ostric: Latawiskò Eriksztadt; Weranic: Flughafen Erichstadt) is the only airport servicing the island of Ostry, and is located just north of Eriksztadt, the largest municipality. Established as a re-fueling airport in 1947 for flights crossing over the far north, the airport now primarily services tourists to the island, seeing around 90,000 arrivals per year. Eriksztadt has since 1998 acted as a regional hub for Nordair, the only major airline to provide consistent flights to and from the island.
History
Eriksztadt Airport was opened to the public on 27 June 1947, after ten years of planning by the Weranic Aviation Association. The airport's primary function was to provide a spot to re-fuel for planes crossing the Boreal Sea, at a time where the range of aircraft were heavily limited. Most of the airport's services during its first decades in operation were dedicated towards cargo, until Nordair designated Eriksztadt as a regional hub, bringing along more consistent passenger service. Today, the airport accepts both passenger and cargo services, especially after the promotion of Ostry as a tourist destination in the 1990s.

Accidents and incidents
- On 2 July 2010, a Nordair Margert D3-100 arriving in Eriksztadt from Bürchaft lost control and crashed into the water one mile east of the island, killing all seventy passengers and crew aboard. The incident was the deadliest airplane accident in Ostric history. A memorial dedicated to the victims was erected in front of the airport in 2011.
