EverGreen Forestry Corporation is a multinational vertical conglomerate originating from Greater Tralka that primarily deals in lumber and wood products. Through its subsidiaries, EverGreen Forestry maintains a complete chain of production, owning and operating industrial tree farms, lumber mills, and factories that produce consumer goods including furniture and paper products.

History

EverGreen Forestry was founded in 1909 by Jaro Kosik in the wake of the Great War. Immediately after the war, the regional governments of Greater Tralka started raising much needed funds by selling off state land, and Kosik took the opportunity to purchase a large track of forest in Cezska. The name 'EverGreen' was chosen to represent Kosik's personal commitment to sustainable tree farming and respect for the Greater Tralkan wilderness.

EverGreen Forestry played an important role in restoring the northern states of Torovska and Voldina after the widespread destruction of the war. To build housing and critical infrastructure, the new Greater Tralkan Republic contracted a number of Tralkan companies to for large scale construction projects, and EverGreen provided much of the necessary material to those companies. It used the profit from these reconstruction efforts to expand into other industries where its forestry operations gave it a distinct advantage.

Subsidiaries

In addition to logging and producing raw timber, EverGreen Forestry has several subsidiaries that process lumber into finished consumer products, including furniture and paper products.

EverHome Incorporated manufactures and sells furniture, and the furniture of select partner companies, through its own store. It is widely recognized as the 'public face' of the conglomerate.

Global Reach

EverGreen operates storefronts through EverHome in many countries, including Blechingia and Krenya, and distributes its products in Gavrilia through the local Juarez Group.
