Football is a very popular sport in Safiloa and the Safiloan National Football team is the national team of Safiloa. It was founded in 1932 and is affiliated with the Democratic Socialist Assembly Football Federation (DSAFF) and is controlled by the Safiloan Association Football Union. There is a 3-tier league system with 12 teams playing in each division, culminating in the League of Honor whose top-ranked team is the national champion alongside the winner of the Cup of the LFA.
