Three elctromagnetic launch catapaults allow the Fordo Class to rapidly launch entire squadrons. The Fordo represents the culmination of years of hard work. The Fordo project is suspected of derailing the Thor Class Modernization project as vital funding was diverted towards realizing the Fordo sooner.
