The Gerana was a fighter aircraft produced by the Republic of Syara.

The Gerana was a low-wing monoplane with an enclosed cockpit and a retracting undercarriage. It was introduced into the Syaran Army Air Corps in 1929 intended as the primary front line fighter for the Inner Sphere. Shortly after it first saw action during the invasion of Ruvelka however the design was revealed to have several flaws; despite a sturdy construction and high maneuverability, the aircraft was under powered and lightly armed. While engine upgrades eventually produced a more respectable fighter, it was quickly overtaken by the more capable Pyrausta. Enough models had been produced that the Gerana saw continued service throughout the remainder of the Siduri War, where it saw service on every front. Although some pilots came to prefer the Gerana due to its superior handling in some areas relative to the Pyrausta, Syaran leadership remained unimpressed and it played second note for the duration of the conflict. It was retired from active service in 1940 following a production run of 8,600.
