The Gisenti ASF M1916 (Italian: Arma di Supporto di Fanteria Modello 1916; “Infantry Support Weapon Model 1916”) is a family of Cacertian automatic rifles that served as the Royal Army’s first dedicated squad automatic weapon. It was designed by the technicians at Gisenti for use with the Cacertian Expeditionary Force that was being deployed to Syara during the Divide War as part of the strategic concept of walking fire. The ASF M1916 saw extensive service in Syara and later, especially during the Siduri War, remaining the standard issue support weapon for the Royal Army infantry until 1968 when it was replaced.
