The Gothic War, sparked by a Scandinvan-armed rebellion in southern Theohuanacu, took place between August 2026 and September 2030. It was fought between the Golden Throne (The Macabees) and the Scandinvan Empire, and their allies. The war is commonly portrayed as an anti-slaver war, a narrative formalized by the 2028 World Assembly commendation of the Golden Throne,[1] and the war explicitly ended Gothic slave trade in Greater Dienstad. However, it is commonly accepted that the war was mainly motivated by retribution and the Macabéan imperative to punish a foreign power for instigating instability within the Díenstadi empire. The war was spurred to an end by the fall of the Scandinvan port city of Drasdag, and in September 2030 the two principle warring powers agreed to end the conflict with the Treaty of [Redacted].
