Early life

Born in Madinat Al-Islam to an Arab imam and his Sharifistani Turkic wife in 1960, he was raised to be pious from a young age. He attended the Sharifistani School of Fencing on a scholarship, leaving with 4 A-levels at the age of 17.

University education

He studied for a Doctorate in Islamic studies at Jordan University, deferring national service for 5 years.

Military service

He served as a chaplain in the Royal Air Cavalry of Sharifistan, leaving four years later at the rank of Major. He was respected by the men for being as pious as he expected them to be.

Death and veneration

Grand Mufti Muhammad Ibrahim Qureshi died in 2020 as a result of an air-strike on the City of Industry Palace. He is venerated as saint amongst Sufi Muslims in Sharifistan and the Sharifistani diaspora.
