The Grosphos (Symmerian language: Javelin) is a mobile tactical ballistic missile system utilized by the Syaran military. The Grosphos can travel at speeds of Mach 6, at a range of 500 kilometers and an altitude of 50 kilometers. The Grosphos is typically carried by road-bile transporter-erector-launchers and replaced previous tactical ballistic missile systems developed by the Republic of Syara.

The Grosphos is capable of several different warhead configurations, including cluster munitions, fuel-air explosives, high-explosive fragmentation, and "penetration" munitions for bunker busting. The Grosphos was introduced in 2007 after a decade long development reportedly beginning in 1996. Shortly after its introduction the Grosphos saw widespread usage in the Zemplen War where it became known among Syaran soldiers as the Ъперкът (Ŭperkŭt, "uppercut"). The Grosphos was used to target Ruvelkan targets in depth namely staging areas, ammunition storage, supply depots, command centers, critical infrastructure, airfields, and on occasion troop concentrations. Approximately 2,000 missiles were fired from 129 launchers over the course of the war. Syaran forces employed Grosphos at the field army level, organized into Missile Brigades. Grosphos were often launched at multiple stages during offensive operations, at the beginning to disrupt command and control centers, then follow up strikes to inhibit counter-strokes and maneuvers. As the war dragged on Grosphos were often used in tandem with longer range strategic ballistic missiles to destroy Ruvelkan infrastructure and lines of communication and supply. Destruction of Grosphos launchers were frequent objectives for Ruvelkan Imperial Fusiliers and the Ruvelkan Imperial Air Force, resulting in the loss of 17 launch systems.

Modernization efforts on the Grosphos began in 2015 to increase weapon payload and range. The Syaran National Army maintains an estimate 200 launchers and more than 1,500 missiles in its arsenal.
