The Iguana-M2, also known simply as the "Iguana" or "M2 Humvee", is a 4x4 light combat vehicle made and used in Inyursta. In service with virtually every branch of the Inyurstan military and National Police, it is the single most widely used military vehicle in the country. It is also used by various non-state actors and smaller regional governments in América Libré.

Variants

Iguana-M2: Standard variant featuring a single M2 Browning .50 caliber machine gun and no structural armoring.

  • M2 AA: Iguana-M2 with twin FIM-92K anti-aircraft missiles instead of .50cal MG.
  • M2 AT: Iguana-M2 with GPM-T ATGM instead of .50cal MG.
  • M2 Airborne: Iguana-M2 armed with a single 40mm MGL in place of .50cal MG, and passenger seat 7.62x51mmMG. Frontal alluminum plating and ballistic glass protects against 7.62x39mm from the front.
  • M2U1: Unarmed utility & transport variant.
    • M2U2: Unarmed utility variant with open truck bed instead of back seats.
      • M2UC: Unarmed engineer variant with tow hitch instead of back seats.
  • M2N: Down-armed variant with 7.62x51mm MG instead of .50cal MG. In use with Inyurstan National Guard and Inyurstan National Police.
    • M2NA: Added additional aluminum armor and ballistic glass to M2N, bringing protection up to 7.62x39mm from all sides.
  • M2V: Support weapons launch platform, removed rear seat row to mount larger weapons.
    • M2VA: Added additional aluminum armor and ballistic glass to M2V, bringing protection up to 7.62x39mm from all sides.
      • M2VA HMG: M2VA carrying twin-mount GE-3 on the back platform.
      • GPM-FOGM Killshot: Stand-off multipurpose missile fired from the back of M2VA.
