J'el Tun Tz'unun (హెలె తుని ఝునున; born November 9th 1960) is a Mutulese magistrate, stateman, and current Sak Kim (సక కిమి) of the Divine Throne, one of the four ministers that form the core of the Mutulese government and whom received the honors of Apotheosis, elevating them to the status of living gods alongside the K'uhul Ajaw. As the "Pillar of the West", J'el Tun Tz'unun preside over law enforcement, supervise the courts of justice, direct corrections and the prison system, take care of matters of national security, and has oversight the security services.
Born in the House of Xahil, a prestigious K'akchikel lineage, J'el Tun Tz'unun suffer from Acromegaly caused by a benign tumor to the pituitary gland, causing gigantism. The tumour was removed at the age of sixteen following medical complications caused by his conditions. He became a close friend of Jasaw Chan K'awiil V during their time at the Lamat Ik' Nawi. His studies oriented him toward the Magistrature, becoming a Judge-Assessor at the K'umakah Provincial Board of Grievances in 1986. In 1993, he was promoted to the rank of Judge-President of the prestigious K'alak Muul Board of Grievances, capable of prosecuting Ministers for crimes they committed during their service. As Judge-President, he oversaw the trial of two different ministers accused of corruption during the early rule of Jasaw Chan K'awiil V.
In 1999, he was installed as the Aj K'in Terask'ol, the highest priest ruling over the White Path Clergy dedicated to the worship of Teras Kol and other offshoots of the Sudu Margaya. While he was no longer Judge-President, his new position earned him a seat at the Ox Bitzpop. In 2002, he was officially promoted to the court-rank of Apax, "Childhood friend" of the K'uhul Ajaw and one of the highest distinction accessible by a Mutulese politician. Two years later, he was promoted to the position of Sak Kim and received the Apotheosis.
