The K.5 Barracuda is a medium bomber in service with the Imperial & Federal Aerospace Troops, providing operation scale void and atmospheric strike capacity for the Aerospace Troops. The K.5 is a third generation operations level bomber, and is capable of interstellar missions, operating from bases in one system to strike targets in nearby systems. The K.5 is a modular strike craft, and can be equipped for long range patrol missions, trading payload capacity for high end sensor and other electronic systems when necessary. The K.5 has been designed to maximise range and payload, and relies on its ravelin systems for protection, with relatively light defensive armaments.
