Major General Karl Laurence Kristin Arseid, 7th Viscount Arseid GCD GEO GOH (18 August 1907 - 19 March 2003) was a senior Erebonian Army officer. He is remembered as the commander of the Arseid and Sutherland Highlanders of Erebonia as well as the Lucis Commonwealth Armies in Erebonia in operations during the Second Europan War. Considered by many Erebonians to be one of its best generals, Arseid was known for being in the field for most of his battles during EWII, an act he learned from his commanding officer, and later close friend, Field Marshal Daidoji Kitagawa, his commanding officer and his brother-in-law after allowing his sister to marry him. This started to become one of military history's well-known friendships.

Arseid also ruled the Arseid Viscounty throughout the war when he inherited the title in 1939. After the war, he became a businessman and opened Legram's first Lucian Tea Shop.
