Kathic Northern Airways commonly known as Kathic Northern is a regional airline based in Vydau, Maszale. Founded in 1948 to provide passenger and cargo service to the northern provinces of Kathia, it has since expanded to cover the rest of Kathia and has several international routes to Grothbord and Educandi. Kathic Northern became a subsidary of Kathic Allonian Airlines in 1979.

History

Kathic Northern was founded in Meval, Kevale, in then northeast of Kathia. Its service was subsidised by the provincial government. The fleet originally consiseted of DC-3s and later Convair 240s would be added. However, both types would be replaced by the Iszada IA-6300, which would become a mainstay of the fleet for nearly 35 years, when the last one was retired in 2006. Kathic Northern acquired IA-111-10s in 1968, and has since become a big user of the aircraft, having owned or operated every subsequent type of IA-111.

In 1998, Kathic Northern, along with its parent, became a launch customer of the IA-115, which it now owns 50 airframes. The IA-115 replaced the last of the IA-6300s in 2006. The current fleet also includes ATR 42s and ATR 72s.
