The Kien-k'ang Ring Road (圜建康術, gwren-kyan-k'ang-sluts) is a ring road consisting in the larger southern arc of the corridor vacated by the demolished outer walls of Kien-k'ang and parts of the Hallian Mission Road and the Superior Woods Highway. The ring road is 19.5 km long and on average is between 2 and 3 km from Swar-lang Gate, the survey centre of the city. It connects the city's three main railway termini and (necessarily) transects arterial roads leading away from the city's gates.
The total width of the road is around 65 m, and it is configured as a quadruple carriageway with four lanes in either direction. The two central carriageways, with four lanes, are divided from the two peripheral carriageways by gardened medians and tram tracks about 2 – 3 m wide.
The road is served by a pre-existing tram routes 0, 10, and 20.
