The Legatian Air Forces (Legatian: Exercitum Caeli Legatium) is the aviation warfare component of the Armed Forces of the Legatian Republic, and is one of the six uniformed branches of the Armed Forces. Formed from Legatian Army's Army Aviation in the period between the Great Wars, the Legatian Air Force is among the world's largest air forces, operating a large, modern and well-trained force consisting of fighter, bomber, support, and special mission aircrafts. The Air Force's mission is to conduct aerial warfare and security operation in support of the sovereignty and national interests of the Legatian Republic, provide combatant commanders with well trained and capable aviation assets, project and deliver force in global engagements, participate in peacekeeping operations, and ensure the security and safety of the citizens of the Republic.
