The Lewis administration began on December 1, 1858 when Franklin Lewis took office as the thirteenth president of the Federation of Rizealand and ended when he left office on December 1, 1863. Murray took office as a Democrat after winning the 1858 election. After he was defeated in the 1863 election, his administration was succeeded by the Wright administration under Jamie Wright, a National Republican.
