Although the party's official registered name contains a comma, it is often publicized or referred to in the media without the comma present.

Libertad, Marquería Juntos (unofficial English name: Freedom and Solidarity for Marquería), is a social democratic, socialist and sovereigntist political party that is active in the Pacitalian autonomous community of Marquería.

The party holds typical left-wing and centre-left social and economic views. It has always strongly advocated for Marquerian independence and defence of Marquerian identity, culture and language.

Many of its members held known or suspected links to the now-defunct terrorist organizations Forasteros Revolucionarios and Tireros Partidarios; LMJ, as a result, was seen up until the mid-2000s as the political wing of the Marquerian extremist movement. It faced legal and electoral scrutiny under conservative governments at the national level.

Despite never endorsing terrorism and violence, it was forced to explicitly and publicly disavow these methods in 2008 in order to avoid having its electoral registration suspended. LMJ-aligned politicians avoided criminal prosecution under a subsequent amnesty agreement, and the party moved into a new era solely focusing on achieving Marquerian independence and sovereignty through political means.

It has the second-largest share of seats on the regional council of Marquería. At the national level, the party has consistently returned lawmakers to the national parliament. In the 2023 elections, it won seven seats in the Constazione and elected four senators.
