Lionoll, officially the State of Lionoll, is a nation in northern Asia. It is bordered by Gola to the west and south and Tempor to the east. It has a coast with the Taymir Channel to the north.

Lionoll is consistently the highest rated country for civil liberties and political freedom in the world. It is perhaps the only country to ever have achieved a perfect score for HRC-FS human rights. The Lionollian society is also one of the most peaceful, equal, and safest in the world and has the lowest crime rates of all types in the world. Due to the high levels of peace in the country, laws to keep the peace are sparse and very unrestricting. To keep the high level of safety and peace, Lionoll’s borders are extremely protected.

The Lionollian economy is mostly self-sustaining based on agriculture and local trades. Lionoll’s only trade partner is Gola and has ceased trading with its other neighbour Tempor resulting from heightened tension, border violations, and skirmishes. Despite Lionoll rating very high in several positive topics, the tourism industry is non-existent. Lionoll is secluded and does not participate in any international activities, except for trade with Gola. There are no airports and no major ports in Lionoll, along with only one major road out of the country into Gola, primarily used for transportation of tradable goods.

Etymology

The origin of Lionoll, along with Tempor and Dinmir, is completely unknown. The earliest recorded use of the term Lionoll was on the founding registration records of Lionoll City, which at the time was part of Tempor. There is no mention of the name before then, nor is there a clear relation to any word or phrase in the Temporan language.
