List of NASC Administrative Districts

Jump to navigation Jump to search

The North American Socialist Commonwealth is composed of several landmasses. However, only four are considered to have sufficient landmasses to possess, or to be considered civilian governed administrative districts. Of these, the largest is the mainland, which holds a majority of the Commonwealth's population, as well as most of its landmass. It is also the only territory to have multiple Administrative Districts placed on it. Other landmasses are solitary districts, given their relative autonomy when compared to mainland districts and Norland.

The Mainland of the Commonwealth is the most diverse landmass in the Commonwealth. It covers the largest amount of landmass from arid scrubland in the southwest, to the verdant fields and forests of the New England District. It is also the most demographically diverse bearing millions of members of nearly a dozen ethnicites as well as hosting one of the largest populations of nonhumans in the Commonwealth, barring the Veiled Isle. It is split into 8 Administrative Districts New England, Columbia, Lakeland, Gulf, Plains, Nueva Mexico, Montañas, and Vesper.

Other Civil Districts

In addition to the Mainland's eight districts are the larger individual districts of the overseas territories. The physically and demographically largest of these is Isla Verde, which is home to the second largest Commonwealther population outside the mainland. Smaller is the densely populated Veiled Isle which has a small landmass but a massive, urbanized population. Lastly is Norland, which has massive landmass but a very small population, largely concentrated in the South.

Military Districts

In addition to Civil Administrative Districts are the military Districts. These territories are landmasses created by the Commonwealth Defense Force. These territories are directly administered by the military and have no civilian government. Military Districts often are created by the military to secretly test new weapons platforms, or to base assets that would not be safe on the mainland. There are currently two such Military Districts, MD Hetairoi in the South Meridon sea, and MD Hussar, South of the Veiled Isle.
