List of active Republic of Dayashina Navy ships

Jump to navigation Jump to search

List of active Republic of Dayashina Navy ships is a list of ships in active service with the Republic of Dayashina Navy. The RDN is one of the world's largest navies and the second largest navy in Hemithea in terms of tonnage, behind Menghe. As of 2019, the RDN operates XXX vessels, including 4 nuclear-powered aircraft carriers, 2 helicopter destroyers, 30 destroyers, 26 frigates, XX corvettes, XX large patrol craft, 6 guided missile cruisers, 16 attack submarines, and 20 nuclear powered general purpose attack submarines.

Throughout the 2010-2018, the RDN's procurement listings rapidly increased, as Prime Minister Daichi Noru pushed forward massive expansion plans, procuring dozens of Suijin-equipped ships. This eight year build-up represents the most rapid military build-up in Dayashinese history, even surpassing the build-up effort undertaken by the Dayashinese Empire in rapidity. As of 2019, the National Diet passed a vote committing to defence spending reforms, which may see a hard cancellation or tone-down of future procurement plans laid out by Prime Minister Noru.
