Lucerna was a province of the Empire of Exponent. Following the collapse of the Empire, Lucerna was absorbed into the short-lived Republic of Ravetta. After Ravetta's annexation into the Blackhelm Confederacy, Lucerna remained a part of the new Ravettan province, but remains a culturally distinct region within the Blackhelm Confederacy.
