Madsen-Dyrssen-Auvray SE, simplified as MDA SE is an Acrean global aerospace and defence technology corporation. It is one of Tyran's largest defence corporations, and is the largest aerospace firm in Acrea. It was first created as a consortium to develop military aircraft to meet Acrean Air Force requirements in 1952, and later expanded into being a jointly-owned company which integrated MD's commercial business. MDA designs, develops, and sells a multitude of products including commercial and military aircraft, aircraft engines, turbine engines, satellites, and telecommunications equipment, as well as provides leasing and support services for these products. The company's headquarters is located in Kongsberg, Acrea.

MDA is organised into five divisions- its subsidiary MDA Commercial Aerospace, MDA Defence Aerospace, MDA Systems, MDA Space and Security, and MDA Capital. The divisions are responsible for commercial aircraft, military aircraft, communications and networking systems, and asset leasing and lending respectively.

MDA's commercial aircraft are well known for their integration of advanced technology developed from their military products with the intent to enhance pilot experience, decrease operating costs, and improve safety. Examples of this are the implementation of side-stick controls, glass cockpits, more efficient engines, and improved composite construction for its airframes.

One of the most notable technologies MDA introduced into its commercial aviation sector is its automatic ground collision avoidance system (auto-GCAS). First developed for use on Acrean military aircraft to prevent controlled flight into terrain (CFIT), often caused by pilots blacking out from g-forces, auto-GCAS was introduced by MDA and the RAAF in 2012. It began to be implemented into commercial MDA aircraft the same year, both being built into new production aircraft and retrofitted into existing fleets.
