The Party of Martish Sotirian Democrats (Kirenian: Erakond Marti Sotirilikud Demokraadid) is a Martish Sotirian democrat political party. The party operates solely in Martiland, while it's larger counterpart, the Humanist Sotirian Union, operates in the other three Communities of Alsland. At the federal level, the MSD forms a common faction in the Folkssenaat with the HSU, Sotirian People's Party, and the Union of Sotirians and Democrats known simply as the Sotirian Democrats Group.
The party was formed in 1962 as a merger of the two extant Sotirian democracy parties that were in place at the time, the Martish Sotirian Party and Family Party, and a splinter faction of the Kirenian People's Party. The party is the third largest in Martiland, controlling 21 seats in the Martish Parliament. Aside from the HSU, the MSD has continental affiliations with the Euclean Democratic Union.
