The Meeräsche was an Englean surface-to-air missile system created from the previous Second Great War era Stargaard X56 air-to-air missile. The Meeräsche was designed to replace the conventional weapons systems found on Englean vessels, such as the 37mm FlaK 35 and the 40mm FlaK 32 that had been operated since the early 1930s.
