Megara the Valentian (251–223 AC), known in Vayonistic theology as Megara the Enlighter, was an Elyrian priestess and theologian. Martyred at the order of Emperor Daevon I Meronid, her nativist and fundamentalist religious beliefs would grow in popularity until their official adoption by the Empire in 152 AC, starting the period known as the Smashing of the Idols. She is venerated as an augur by the Ecumenical Communion and other Vayonistic denominations, and carries the role of sole prophet in various non-Vayonic denominations.
