Nazarab is the capital and 2nd largest city in Arzaqa and is home to 2,008,491 inhabitants. Nazarab was founded in 1959 as a planned city in the center of the country to promote unity and equality. Before 1959 the capital city of Arzaqa was the city of Isiya.
