The Imperial Viceroyalty of New Gestoria is a colonial state of Vionna-Frankenlisch and a constituent state of the Zianian Raj, the Vionna-Frankenlischian administration of the Zianian continent. As a Viceroyalty, New Gestoria is under the formal jurisdiction of the Grand Imperiator of the Frankenlischian Empire and under the legal jurisdiction of the Vionna-Frankenlischian Government. New Gestoria is principally administrated by the Earl of Savenheim who is currently serving as Viceroy and administered in the Vionna-Frankenlischian Government by Lord Halstone, current Minister for Imperial Affairs.
Most of the New Gestorian population is Sikh and they remain content with the Imperial governance, many serving in the Imperial Zianian Army. As is consistent with much of Eastern Ziania, New Gestoria has an abnormally low population of Hindus, despite Hindi being an official language and the most used by the native population. Thirteen percent of the population follow the Frankenlischian Andyist or Vionnan Christian faiths. There is a small (approximately 4%) population of Buddhists, mainly in the province of Davagli and speaking that language.
